Game Master for Gardens of Fog: A Mental Health Awareness Mini-Campaign

About the adventure

This adventure, developed by WotC and the mental health professionals at Take This, sees our intrepid heroes travel into the mind of an ally struggling with depression and anxiety...and these naturally occurring mental states have been coopted and exacerbated by a supernatural force bent upon their ally's destruction.

If our heroes wish to save their friend, they must confront these supernatural afflictions to give their ally the strength and skills to face the real-world afflictions that started it all. This campaign will be run across two or three sessions in coordination with a mindfulness and mental health practitioner from The Mindful Space.

They will help discuss the safety tools during Session 0, perform aftercare after each session, and be on standby throughout the campaign to assist on an as-needed basis. (The assistance provided by The Mindful Space is meant to be educational and does not constitute medical care or therapy.)
